Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated that Serbia will end 2021 with the best economic results in Europe, because economic growth will be around seven percent.
She assessed for TV Prva that the fact that Serbia had almost the best economic results in Europe in 2020, almost the smallest drop in GDP of 0.9 percent and an increase in net employment contributes to that.
“Serbia has the biggest projects and one of the best results, we have at least four regional projects that should be realized by the end of the year or the beginning of next, and one of the most important is the Nis-Pristina-Tirana-Brac port highway,” Brnabic said.
She announced that salaries and pensions will be increased at the end of the year.
“The average salary in Serbia will be 900 euros by 2025, and the average pension will be between 430 and 440 euros. After that, we will overrun Bulgaria, which is a member of the EU,” she emphasized.
Brnabic said that by the end of 2021, Serbia will have a highway to Pozega, Krusevac, a fast railway Belgrade-Novi Sad, and that “huge investments” are coming, N1 reports.
