The oil industry of Serbia has announced a tender for the selection of partners for the construction of a small power plant Srpska Crnja with a capacity of 2 MW, with connection to the infrastructure, it was announced on the company’s website.

The work also includes the connection of a small power plant to the infrastructure, and the criterion for selection is the most economically acceptable offer from the aspect of NIS, provided that it is positively technically evaluated.

NIS is looking for a partner who will obtain all permits and consents, including the use permit, provide materials and equipment, prepare technical documentation, build the power plant, put it into operation and maintain it for 15 years.

The future energy facility is a containerized system for the production of electricity with a gas engine or gas turbine with all auxiliary systems and subsystems that should enable autonomous operation.

It will be connected to the raw gas system from the Srpska Crnja field and will also have a connection to the electric power system.

The location of the future power plant is on the territory of the municipality of Nova Crnja, in the town of Srpska Crnja.

The exploitation field of Srpska Crnja is located in northern Banat about 25 kilometers southeast of Kikinda and administratively belongs to the municipality of Nova Crnja.

The field has been in operation since 1978, and there is a gathering gas station on it.

“Due to the introduction of new wells into exploitation, the expansion of the gathering gas station and the construction of facilities for the gathering and preparation of gas are planned,” stated NIS in the tender documentation.
