Serbia on right track, message to investors good
, NewsA certain European path of Serbia is a good precondition for interest from German investors, Hamburg Mayor Olaf Scholz said Monday.
Meeting with Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, he said there was serious intent in northern Germany to open the labour market to Serbian citizens.
A good message to investors would be that Serbia is on a certain European path and that they can trust the legal system, and what you are doing is a good way to convince them of this, Scholz said.
Serbia is on the right track – European and German investors are doing good business in Serbia and there is interest among investors to invest more, Scholz said.
Accepting Vucic’s invitation to pay a visit to Serbia, Scholz said it would take place after the elections in Germany.
