That innovation and entrepreneurship of young people are the future is shown by the great response of individuals and teams to numerous competitions and educations. The science and technology park in Čačak is a support for many people, to go boldly from an idea to the development of new technological solutions and the establishment of new startup companies. Through various programs, the Regional Innovation Startup Center provides support to young and educated people who want to start and develop their own business.

“I think it is very important for them, because there are a series of workshops. In the first phase, they have professional support where they give lectures to lean startups, how to develop their product or service, how to actually turn their idea into a successful business. In addition, there are team and presentation skills that are very important to them before appearing in front of investors,” explains Kristina Resimić, Science and Technology Park Čačak.

In cooperation with scientific research organizations, innovation incubators were developed at the faculties in Čačak, Kraljevo and Kragujevac, and the Science and Technology Park Čačak was recognized as a center for the development of innovation activity among six startup centers.

“They are located in Bajina Bašta, Priboj, Ivanjica, Gornji Milanovac and Vrnjačka Banja, and it is in some way territorially distributed so that in each of our surrounding centers there is something that would actually support young ideas, young talents from these regions and that they through some pre-incubation program to develop their ideas and when those ideas reach a certain level of maturity they can be established as companies in our capacities of the Science and Technology Park”, emphasizes Mirko Pešić, v. d. Director of Science and Technology Park Čačak.
