Serbian Finance Minister will attend the traditional spring meetings of the IMF and the World Bank in Washington DC, the Serbian government has announced.
According to a statement, the April 20-23 gathering will bring together the world’s financial elite – governors of central banks, finance ministers and representatives of major financial institutions.
Vujovic will meet with Deputy Executive Director of the IMF Tao Zhang and Director of the IMF for Europe Paul Thomsen, and will also speak with Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Miller, World Bank Country Director for Western Balkans Ellen Goldstein and World Bank Managing Director Werner Gruber, who represents Serbia in the Board of Directors.
Vujovic will have a presentation at the 3rd International Conference on Taxes, organized by the IMF and the World Bank, and will also participate in the work of the Development Committee of the World Bank, as well as in a round table of ministers and governors of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the government said, citing a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance.
