The Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali, wrote on social networks that the growth of the GDP of Serbia in 2021 will amount to six estimates.

“The projection of economic growth of 6% for 2021 by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) shows that we have coped well with the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as that a strong recovery of Serbia is expected,” Mali wrote on his Instagram profile.

“This is great news and a new confirmation of the correct economic policy we are pursuing. We know that we can achieve better growth than projected, because the numbers are in our favor, taking into account the first quarter of this year, where we are among the countries with the highest growth in Europe. We have dynamic growth ahead of us, which leads to the strengthening of the living standard of the citizens,” he added, B92 reports.
