“Our goal is to rank Serbia, together with its Israeli partners, among the thirty most innovative economies in the world in the next few years,” Cadez said on that occasion.

This is the seventh PKS representative office in the world, and Serbian companies have, among other things, the opportunity to connect with Israeli partners and develop joint solutions and technologies for the implementation of a hydrogen strategy aimed at alternative and green energy sources, which should largely reduce the use of conventional fuels. GenCell, a leading Israeli manufacturer of hydrogen-based energy solutions, is interested in establishing cooperation with Serbian companies in all areas aimed at developing clean energy using hydrogen. Soon, with the support of the SCC Representation in Israel, a joint meeting with representatives of Serbian companies will be organized to discuss specific projects and jobs.

The SCC delegation also visited the large Tech7 startup center in Been Sheva, Yazamut 360 Ben-Gurion University Entrepreneurship Center in Israel, which networks startups, entrepreneurs, student researchers focused on innovation and high technologies, and sees opportunities for cooperation with science and technology parks in Serbia in the field of development of cyber security, smart cities and other “smart solutions” applicable in the economy.
