Trade and telecommunications are priority areas in cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic

The Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia, Tatjana Matic, and Tomas Kuhta, the Czech Ambassador to Serbia, agreed at the meeting that trade and telecommunications are priority areas of cooperation between the two countries and that it is necessary to continue the work of the Joint Committee.
Ambassador Kuhta expressed satisfaction with the business of Czech companies in Serbia, announcing that other Czech companies are also planning investments in Serbia, the Ministry announced.
He singled out the “Avala Film” project, emphasizing its importance for the Serbian film industry, and announced the construction of an educational film institution within the project, as well as a large film studio.
The ambassador also pointed out a significant opportunity for the import of Serbian products in the field of chemical production, production of tires and agricultural and food products.
Minister Matic pointed out that the cooperation with the PPF group is of special importance, reminding that the ministry announces calls to operators for the joint construction of a broadband network in rural areas.
Matic and Kuhta concluded that the growth of trade exchange is a good indicator of economic cooperation between the two countries and expressed expectation for further development of cooperation, especially with the expected economic stabilization next year, N1 reports.
