Two new investment projects in Serbia of 160 million euros

The Ministry of Economy of Serbia announced today that the Government of Serbia, on its proposal, gave its consent to conclude a contract with the German PWO SEE and the Dutch Ariston Climate Solutions, which will invest 160 million euros and create 850 jobs in Kragujevac, Čačak and Niš.

Minister of Economy Slobodan Cvetković stated that the plant for the development and production of parts, tools, assemblies and components for the automotive industry in Kragujevac and Čačak will be realized by PWO SEE, while the plant for the production of household electrical appliances in Niš will be built by Ariston Climate Solutions Svilajnac.

PWO SEE is owned by the German company PWO AG and is engaged in the production of parts and equipment for motor vehicles, with plants in Germany and the Czech Republic. Its main markets are mainly the countries of the European Union, China and Mexico. In 2022, the group achieved a consolidated income of 27 million euros and employed almost 3,000 workers.

PWO SEE will invest 88 million euros in Serbia and employ around 550 workers in Kragujevac and Čačak. Ariston Climate Solutions will employ at least 300 workers at the plant in Nis by the end of 2027 and invest 75 million euros by the end of 2026.

That company produces household electrical appliances and is owned by Ariston Holding NV, the Netherlands, which operates within the Ariston Group, a world leader in the production of water and space heating products, components and burners.

The company owns facilities for the production of heating components in Italy, France, Germany, China, Russia, Vietnam and in 2022 it achieved a consolidated revenue of over 190 million euros and employs about 10,000 workers.
