Serbia attaches great significance to its relations with Kazakhstan, especially the economic ones, Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday, opening a Kazakhstan-Serbia business forum.

The friendship between the two nations and the relations between the two countries must be accompanied by more intensive cooperation in all areas, in particular in the economy, Vucic said.

Serbia is the country with the largest market in the Balkans and it is proud of its preferential trade agreements, in particular the ones with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, he said.

Serbia has become a stability factor in the Balkans thanks to reforms, which have improved its business climate, Vucic said.

As a G20 member state and a founder of the Eurasian Economic Union, Kazakhstan is our most significant economic and political partner in the region, he said.
