Wheat reached the maximum price this year at the Product Exchange

Wheat reached the maximum price this year at the Product Exchange in Novi Sad last week, a kilogram cost from 39.50 to 40 dinars, without value added tax (VAT), the exchange announced today.

That price, as it was stated, was 3.8 percent higher than the price of the previous week, and it increased due to the increase of the export quota for May by 150,000 tons.

Today, the price in the offer was from 39.50 to 40.50 dinars per kilogram without VAT, but no contracts were concluded.

Contracts for corn were concluded at a price of 34 dinars without VAT, which is an increase of 0.34 percent.

After the continuous growth, the price of soybeans decreased slightly, by 0.11 percent, and sales contracts were concluded in the price range from 83.80 to 84 dinars per kilogram without VAT. It had the historical maximum price of soy in May last year, when it cost 85.50 dinars per kilogram without VAT.

Russian mineral fertilizer urea was sold at a price of 93.83 dinars per kilogram, Danas reports.
