A new donation from Denmark to Serbia for the needs of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs

So far, within the activation of the Civil Protection Mechanism of the European Union, which has been in force since March 14, 2020, humanitarian aid has been sent to Serbia for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) with a total value of more than seven million euros.
The latest donation is medical protective equipment worth 361,407 euros, in the form of humanitarian aid from Denmark through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
The Ministry was handed 76,800 FFP2 protective masks intended for the uniformed composition of the operational units of the Ministry of the Interior, but also to all other employees who have direct contact with the citizens, it is stated in the announcement.
This donation from Denmark was realized in coordination with the Sector for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, which is the national contact point for cooperation within the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism, and in accordance with the signed Agreement between Serbia and the European Union on participation in the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, Danas reports.
