The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission will visit Belgrade on February 24-28 in order to discuss the current macroeconomic developments, as well as the economic prospects and risks, with Serbian government officials, the IMF Resident Representative in Serbia, Sebastian Sosa, announced.
In a statement to Tanjug, Sosa said progress in implementation of reforms undertaken within the framework of a program of cooperation supported by the Policy Coordination Instrument would be discussed during the visit, including areas such as the tax administration and other public sector reforms, fiscal rules and management of public investment and state-owned enterprises.
The representatives of the IMF mission will discuss the topics with officials of the National Bank of Serbia, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and other representatives of the public sector, Sosa said.
