The domestic company “NeoMedika” from Niš is soon to commence the production of hematological reagents in Egypt, marking the first transfer of high medical technology, particularly in the field of “In-vitro” diagnostics, from Serbia to Egypt, as announced today by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
As stated, this was confirmed on February 3 in Cairo through the ceremonial signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the companies “NeoMedika” and “El Hoda,” along with the Egyptian state agency UPA (The Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement and Medical Supply).
The reagents will be manufactured under the “NeoMedika” brand in the state-of-the-art production facilities of the local partner “El Hoda,” while UPA will ensure distribution in the Egyptian market and provide support for exports to surrounding countries, as stated in the announcement.
“NeoMedika” and its distributor “El Hoda” have been collaborating with the Egyptian Ministry of Health since 2016.
High-ranking officials of the Egyptian government, the Serbian Ambassador to Egypt Miroslav Šestović and his team, representatives from the embassies of China, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and France, as well as representatives from the company “El Hoda,” attended the ceremony in Cairo, as reported by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
