Serbia, The average net salary in the first quarter of this year amounted to 83,208 dinars

The average net salary (without taxes and contributions), calculated in the first quarter of this year, amounted to 83,208 dinars, the Republic Institute of Statistics for the first quarter of 2023 announced.

The average salary Is nominally higher by 15.5 percent, while in real terms it is lower by 0.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the fourth quarter of 2022 it is higher by 1.5 percent in real terms, according to the data of RZS.

In the public sector, the average net salary in the first three months of this year was 86,680 dinars, while outside the public sector, the average salary paid was 81,800 dinars.

In public companies, the average net salary in the first three months of this year was about 93,600 dinars, while in education and culture the average salary was 79,129 dinars.
