The project in the field of artificial intelligence of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade MISSION4.0 will be financed from the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, it was published on the internet portal of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. A multi-interdisciplinary faculty of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Philosophy in Belgrade will work on the project.
“The project refers to deep machine learning and biologically inspired multi-criteria optimization in the management and termination of cyber-physical systems within the technological environment of Industry 4.0. In particular, the project is primarily focused on the development and application of intelligent behavior of autonomous mobile robotic systems,” says the project professor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Zoran Miljkovic.
“Given the scientific potential and enthusiasm of researchers at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, we are convinced that in the future there will be more such projects, especially in areas related to the development of new technologies and development of Industry 4.0, which will be aimed at improving production, raising competitiveness production capacities and increase of GDP in Serbia,” said the professor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Aleksandar Simonovic.
He reminded that the researchers of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering were among the first in Serbia to start working on artificial intelligence projects.
The project team consists of 14 scientists and young researchers, including 3 full professors, 2 associate professors, 2 assistant professors, assistant with a doctorate, assistant and 5 trainee researchers.
Industry 4.0 implies complete digitalization of all production processes and application of digital technologies when creating an idea about a product, product engineering, production organization, production realization, process control and provision of industrial services, Nova Ekonomija reports.
