Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic on Monday spoke with Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Sahin Mustafayev about their countries’ cooperation on infrastructure projects.
Vucic told Mustafayev, who also co-chairs the Serbia-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission on economic and trade cooperation, that Azerbaijan and its Azvirt construction company had proven themselves to be reliable partners in the construction of the motorway from Ljig to Preljina, and that Serbia was grateful for that, said a statement from the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
“We are open to cooperation with Azerbaijan on new projects in Serbia and the region,” Vucic said.
Mustafayev headed an Azerbaijani government delegation at the opening of the motorway section.
