The index of the most liquid shares Belex15 jumped 4.4 percent due to the payment of dividends

The payment of dividends by Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS) and the company Impol Seval increased turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange last week, and the index of the most liquid shares Belex15 jumped 4.4 percent to 892 points.

The total turnover in trading on the stock exchange amounted to 1.6 million euros.

The share of NIS jumped 2.1 percent, EUR 6.21, with an increased turnover of EUR 180 thousand because the company paid a dividend from last year’s profit on Thursday. This year, NIS shareholders received a gross dividend of EUR 1.22 per share, which is a record payment in the company’s history.

The value of the NIS share, after the announcement of bad results for the second quarter, fell below the level of EUR 5.89, only to be followed by a recovery with fairly low turnover at the beginning of August.

The shares of Dunav osiguranje also rose in price by 6.5 percent, to EUR 8.53, and the turnover in the trading of this paper amounted to EUR 45 thousand.

Messer Tehnogas also contributed to the growth of the market, whose share returned to the level of EUR 128 with little trading. The value of the share of Jedinstvo from Sevojno increased by 4.4 percent, and that of “Nikola Tesla” Airport by 4.2 percent.
