Supported byspot_img

The index of the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange weakened last week by 0.7 percent, to 891.2 points, mostly due to the drop in the value of the shares of the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), brokerage house Momentum Securities announced today.

The total turnover on the market last week was only 0.9 million euros.

For the first time since November last year, NIS shares fell by 1.8 percent, to 762 dinars, with a turnover of only 3.7 million dinars. The large drop in investment activity in NIS is largely a consequence of the turmoil in the world financial market, which temporarily dropped the price of crude oil to around $70 per barrel, where it was last at the end of 2021.
